It’s running season again and I’m very excited to be doing the Royal Parks Half Marathon in Central London in two weeks!

But, for people like me who haven’t been running for yonks, there seems to be loads of hints and tips flying around about how you should train, what you should and shouldn’t do and what you should and shouldn’t eat. So, I’ve been doing some research and I’ve made a pre-run food plan, to, once you’re ready on the fitness side, help you guys be as ready as you can be for the big day, on the health side. See my tips and ideas I’ve collated from the experts below:

  1. My one tip would be, don’t do anything new on race day. Don’t wear or eat anything you haven’t tested on your longer runs …
